farm feast

The Saugerties Farmers Market is hosting a community supper to spread the word about the market. Ric Orlando of New World Home Cooking will cook for us, preparing a special meal all from products you can buy at the market. Tickets are only $10 supported by a generous grant from the Watershed Agricultural Council and the NYC DEP. Buy your tickets soon at the market, Smith’s Hardware, or Arcadia Homewares, as we expect to sell out. If you are a regular market customer, please bring a friend who doesn’t come to the market so we can broaden our support and keep the farmers happy. We look forward to a great event, good food, swinging music, and lively chatter with you.

NEW LOCATION!

The market is in a beautiful new site with expanded offerings and on-site customer parking: Main Street/9W north (down the street from the movies, next to the Historical Society's Kiersted House, across from the Cahill School). Follow the Farmers Market signs.

Who We Are

basket overflowing with farm fresh fruit

The Saugerties Farmers Market was established in 2002 to help stem the loss of farmland by addressing the economic needs of farmers and to support the historic village business center of Saugerties. While you're in the Village, be sure to support our many locally owned businesses, from a selection of great restaurants and art galleries to health food, hardware, gift, clothing, antiques, and book stores to insurance, banking, and real estate services. www.cometosaugerties.com

The market has a wide variety of produce including biodynamic, naturally grown, and conventional vegetables and luscious orchard fruits and berries; artisan bread; fresh laid eggs; delicious maple syrup, honey, jams & sauces; home baked pies; specialty pastries; pasture raised meats and free range poultry; mushrooms; wine; fresh herbs; oyster mushrooms; smoked fish; Martin's pretzels; granola; tasty regional cheeses; La Bella Pasta ravioli, sauces, and pesto; and a range of Ronnybrook dairy products; locally roasted coffee; traditional Thai tea; and field-grown cut flowers. Products change seasonally. Take home freshly harvested food grown, picked, and brought to market by local farmers. See which farms are participating in the Saugerties Farmers Market.
